The cube box advent calendar consists of 24 cubes in natural brown recycled board that you fold yourself and slot together in one move. Add 24 black-and-white number stickers and that is all this calendar needs. No print, no motifs, no colour: it lives off the material and the row the cubes stand in.
At 7 x 7 x 7 cm the boxes hold considerably more than a flat bag. Pralines, small figures, jewellery, rolled-up socks, vouchers, a nutmeg for the spice rack – what fits is decided by the edge length, not by the shape. And because the board is a sturdy 400 gsm, the cubes hold up even when stacked.

The boxes are die-cut: unfold, tuck in the tabs, done. All 24 take around twenty minutes depending on pace. Then fill them and apply the numbers – on the lid if the cubes are stacked, on the side if they stand in a row.
Assembled, the calendar works best as a group: a pyramid on the sideboard, a long row on the window sill or a stack on a shelf. After the season the cubes fold flat again and can be rebuilt next year.
- Stick the number on the face that will be visible – the lid when stacking, the front when standing in a row.
- Small paper rolls or tissue paper stop light fillings from sliding around inside the cube.
- The plain look takes a string or ribbon around each cube well if you want it more festive.
- After advent the cubes serve as gift packaging for small things – jewellery, soap, pralines.
Do the boxes need gluing?
No. They are unfolded and slotted together, entirely without glue or scissors.
How big are the cubes?
7 x 7 x 7 cm – considerably more volume than a flat calendar bag.
Does the calendar come filled?
No, the boxes arrive empty and are filled by you.
Can I use the calendar more than once?
Yes. The cubes store flat and can be rebuilt the following year; only the number stickers are single use.
