What's included in the Avocado Huggers set? Two lids in different sizes, one for small avocados and one for large ones.
How do the lids keep a cut avocado fresh? They seal the exposed flesh airtight, and the flexible rim gives them a snug fit.
Do they work on the avocado half with the pit? Yes. Each lid has a pit pocket you can push in or out, depending on the half you're saving.
What are the Avocado Huggers made of? 100% food safe silicone, free from BPA and phthalates.
Can they go in the dishwasher or the microwave? Yes, they're dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave safe.
Food Huggers is an American brand of reusable food-saver lids made from food-grade, BPA-free silicone. The flexible covers fit over cut fruit and vegetables or onto cans and jars, replacing cling film. For avocados there are the matching Avocado Huggers.
