This birthday card is a portrait format folded card printed with licensed original artwork from the Aardman films with Wallace & Gromit. On the front the two plasticine characters hold a string of colourful bunting against a light blue background, and the words HAPPY BIRTHDAY appear in English above the illustration. Inside the card is blank, which leaves the whole message to you.
You receive a single greeting card rather than a set: one folded card and one ribbed envelope made of brown kraft paper. Folded, the card measures 12 x 17 cm. Anyone who knows the films will recognise the modelling style of the characters straight away, and that is what makes this Wallace card a greeting card with envelope that fans respond to immediately. It works for a birthday and equally well as an accompanying card for a present.
The illustration shows Wallace and Gromit holding colourful bunting, an image that tells you the occasion without any explanation. The light blue background keeps the colours of the flags bright, and the English lettering sits along the top edge. The card is printed with licensed original artwork, so the image comes straight from the official Wallace & Gromit material.
On the back you will find the Wallace & Gromit logo together with the Aardman logo, which makes the official licence clear at a glance. Each card arrives individually wrapped in a clear, recyclable OPP sleeve.
This is a classic folded card in portrait format with blank inner pages. It is printed on high quality FSC certified paper. The envelope that comes with it is ribbed brown kraft paper, picking up the warm, plain tone of the artwork.
- Folded card in portrait format, 12 x 17 cm folded
- Inner pages blank and unprinted
- Front lettering in English
- Ribbed envelope in brown kraft paper
- Printed on FSC certified paper
- Individually wrapped in a clear, recyclable OPP sleeve
- Back with the Wallace & Gromit and Aardman logos
- Contents: 1 folded card and 1 envelope
The card is aimed at Wallace & Gromit fans and at anyone looking for a warm birthday card with a bit of character. Because the inside is blank, you set the tone yourself: a short greeting, a memory of a shared film night, or simply a signature.
The English lettering on the front already names the occasion, so the rest is up to you. You can give the card on its own or add it to a present as an accompanying card, where it takes over the job of the little note that is so often missing.
Write your greeting in whichever language you like, even though the front lettering is in English. The blank inside lets you keep things brief or take up the whole page.
Used as an accompanying card, you simply hand it over with the gift, and the brown kraft envelope sits nicely alongside plain wrapping paper and string. For fans of the Aardman films the card already works as a small gesture in its own right, even without a present beside it.
What is included? One folded card and one envelope. This is a single greeting card, not a set.
How big is the card? Folded it measures 12 x 17 cm in portrait format, so slightly smaller than a sheet of A5.
Is the card printed inside? No, the inner pages are blank. You write your own message there.
What language is the printed greeting in? The lettering on the front is English and reads HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Your own message inside can be in any language.
Does an envelope come with it? Yes, a ribbed envelope in brown kraft paper is included.
