The Snoopy Love Mug is a porcelain mug with a small surprise hidden inside: a three-dimensional Snoopy figure sits in the base and only appears once the coffee is gone. On the outside, an all-over pattern of Snoopy, Woodstock and red hearts runs across the pink body. If you love Peanuts, this is a Snoopy mug that stands out on the kitchen shelf and reveals one more detail with every sip.
The colour palette is deliberately nostalgic. The maker describes it as a palette that brings back memories of classroom walls, of afternoons after school and of days when your favourite television programme was the highlight of the evening. That is exactly the feeling this Peanuts mug brings to the breakfast table, for morning coffee just as much as for tea at night. As a mug with a figure inside, it is also a gift that everyone understands the moment it is unwrapped.
The heart of this mug sits where you do not see it at first. Down in the base there is a moulded Snoopy figure. While the mug is full it stays hidden, and with every sip the beagle emerges a little further. It turns an ordinary coffee break into a small moment to look forward to.
The word LOVE runs around the upper inner rim, matching the name of the Peanuts Love range. The inside is pink, so the figure and the lettering stand out clearly. When the mug sits on the table you see the lettering from above, and when you lift it the outside pattern takes over.
The outside is printed across the whole surface. Snoopy, his small companion Woodstock and red hearts are spread over the pink ground with barely an empty space left. The handle, the top rim and the foot are picked out in red and frame the pattern. The shape is wide and rounded and stands on a small foot, the kind you know from cappuccino cups.
- Material: porcelain
- 3D Snoopy figure in the base of the mug
- All-over outer print with Snoopy, Woodstock and red hearts on pink
- Pink inside with LOVE lettering around the upper rim
- Handle, rim and foot in red
- Wide, rounded shape on a foot
- Fully printed gift box with Peanuts branding
- Part of the Peanuts Love range
The mug comes in a fully printed gift box with Peanuts branding. There is nothing left to wrap, as the packaging is already part of the whole look and turns the unboxing into part of the present.
With its red hearts and the LOVE lettering, the mug is an obvious choice for Valentine's Day. It works just as well for a birthday, for Mother's Day, under the Christmas tree or in a Secret Santa bag. It will please Peanuts fans, friends and anyone who likes drinking coffee or tea from a mug with character.
Because the figure sits in the base, it pays not to fill the mug right to the brim. That way Snoopy appears after the first few sips instead of only at the very end. The wide, rounded shape shows at its best when you serve a cappuccino or a generous pot of tea.
As a gift you can hand over the printed box just as it is. Add a card if you like, or fill the mug with coffee beans or tea bags beforehand, and one item becomes a small set. We have no manufacturer information on dishwasher or microwave use, so we make no claim about it.
In the cupboard the mug looks best with the handle turned outwards so the pattern stays visible. Left empty on an open shelf it quickly becomes an eye-catcher anyway, because the 3D Snoopy can be seen from above.
What makes this mug special? A three-dimensional Snoopy figure sits in the base inside the mug and only becomes visible once you have drunk it empty.
What material is the mug made of? The mug is made of porcelain.
How big is the mug? It has a wide, rounded shape on a foot, the kind you know from cappuccino cups. We have no confirmed figures for the exact dimensions or capacity.
What does it say inside the mug? The word LOVE runs around the upper inner rim, and the inside is pink.
Does the mug come in gift packaging? Yes, it is delivered in a fully printed gift box with Peanuts branding.
Who is this mug a good gift for? For Peanuts and Snoopy fans and for anyone who enjoys coffee or tea, for example at Valentine's Day, a birthday or Mother's Day.
