Does the SUNGLOBE® Solar Barbecue need gas, charcoal or electricity? No, it runs on solar energy alone. You aim the parabolic reflector at the sun with the sight and switch it on and off with the rotation system.
How hot does it get and how long does it take to heat up? The cooking temperature ranges from 200°C to 240°C, which equals 850 watts. The temperature rise is rapid, around 10 minutes.
What can you cook on it? You cook with a pot, wok or griddle, with a cooking volume of 2 to 4 litres. Think stew, chicken, ratatouille, bread, pizza or cakes.
What's included? 20 S.Réflect® mirror slats, 20 recycled polypropylene slats, a stainless steel structure with flat support, a sight, a screwdriver, a potholder, a soft cloth and a manual.
How big is it once set up? Open, it measures ø 100 cm, the parabola is 30 cm deep and the base 120 cm. The cooking support takes a dish up to 28 cm in diameter.
How do you clean it and what about the warranty? A soft or damp cloth is all it takes. The barbecue is made in France and comes with a 2-year warranty.
