According to the manufacturer there are two steps: first you punch a hole in the cardboard with the mini tool, then you push in a Scru and connect the parts. When several layers meet, you reach for a Scru+, which holds up to five layers.

The Deco-Props stack, layer, twist and connect, and the reusable parts bend, flop, transform and slot together. That is how you get decorations you could not build from cardboard alone: leaf ears on a cardboard monster, teeth, eyes or a long tongue.

Craft sessions with cardboard rarely run out of material, they run out of ideas for the details. This set fills that gap on rainy days, in craft lessons at school and nursery, or over long afternoons at home. After playing, everything goes back into the resealable packaging, so the connectors and the mini tool are all there next time. If the cardboard building set is already on the shelf, the Blobbies can simply join it, since the connecting system is the same.

Is cardboard included in the set? No. You use your own boxes, and the set supplies the decorative parts, the connectors and the mini tool.
