The Batman advent calendar bags bring Gotham City into the run-up to Christmas: 24 paper bags in yellow, pink, black and natural brown, printed with swarms of bats, the skyline and the bat signal. They come with 24 number stickers in black, yellow and pink plus 24 black wooden pegs for sealing.
You fill it yourself – and that is exactly what makes this calendar more interesting for older children and adult fans than a ready-made chocolate one. Trading cards, small figures, cinema vouchers, mini comics, socks or a note for each day: the contents decide whether this calendar is for the twelve-year-old comic fan or for the colleague with the Batman mug.

Lay out all 24 bags, fill them, apply the numbers, fold the top over and add a wooden peg – that is all it takes. The pegs are lacquered black to match the design instead of standing out the way plain natural wood does.
Because the motifs are printed boldly, the calendar reads almost like a row of pictures on the wall. Alternatively the bags stand on a sideboard or go into a shallow basket beside the sofa.
